What is GriefShare?

GriefShare is a support group program designed to help individuals navigate the journey of grief after experiencing the loss of a loved one. It provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can share their experiences, emotions, and challenges related to grief. GriefShare typically consists of weekly meetings over a 13-week period and incorporates three main components:

  1. Video Seminars: These sessions feature expert speakers who address various aspects of the grief experience, offering practical advice and insights to help participants cope with their loss.

  2. Personal Workbook: Participants receive a workbook that complements the video seminars, providing additional resources, reflection exercises, and discussion topics to further explore their grief journey.

  3. Support Group Experience: The heart of GriefShare lies in the support group meetings, where individuals can connect with others who are also grieving. These groups offer a safe space for sharing, listening, and supporting one another through the challenges of grief.

Overall, GriefShare aims to provide comfort, guidance, and encouragement to those who are grieving, helping them navigate the complex emotions and transitions that come with loss while offering hope for healing and renewal.
